Nursing assistant/Health care assistant

Your role

Work alongside nurses to deliver preventive, hygiene, support, interpersonal and educational care with regard to health in order to maintain or restore the quality of life, well-being and independence of patients.

Cook

Your role

Carry out food preparation in line with special dietary and medical requirements and ensure the packaging, storage and distribution of this food while complying with food hygiene regulations (for example, using HACCP to manage food safety hazards), operating procedures and quantities ordered.

Receptionist

Your role

Greet patients, their loved ones and any other visitors. Provide guidance in both French and English. Deal with special requests from patients and their loved ones. Manage phone calls and enter patient admission data into different IT systems.

Nurse

Your role

Assess the health status of patients and analyse care situations. Develop, define and arrange personalised care plans. Deliver preventive, curative and palliative care in order to promote, maintain and restore health.

Physiotherapist

Your role

Develop diagnoses and care objectives based on physiotherapy. Deliver rehabilitation care by using manual techniques or equipment in order to treat patients or to help maintain or improve their physical, mental and social health.

Midwife

Your role

Advise, assist and support women during their pregnancy, labour and delivery while working closely with medical teams. Deliver care to newborns and their mothers. Support and guide couples by preparing them for the arrival of their baby and parenthood. A midwife’s scope of practice starts with conception and ends with postpartum follow-up care to ensure new mothers are healthy and ready for life with their new baby.

Biomedical equipment technician

Your role

Maintain, service and install biomedical equipment and devices. Work can also involve medical gas systems and equipment.

Biomedical equipment technicians at La Tour play a key interdisciplinary role since they ensure that all biomedical equipment and devices, needed for doctors, nurses and health care staff to deliver appropriate care, are available and working correctly. Radiographer

Your role

Perform techniques relating to medical imaging, nuclear medicine, function tests and radiotherapy that contribute to prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment as well as research.

Radiographers are not only required to accurately perform examinations, but they also are expected to offer support and reassurance to patients. Our technical facilities are fully equipped with the latest generation of medical equipment. As a result, radiographers can perform SPECT-CT and PET-CT scans in nuclear medicine as well as incredibly detailed three-dimensional MRI and ultrasound scans featuring ‘anatomical intelligence’ and even powerful linear particle accelerator technology. Surgical technician & Scrub nurse

Your role

Coordinate and deliver care as well as organise and perform tasks with regard to procedures for patients undergoing surgery, endoscopic examinations and other invasive procedures for diagnosis and/or treatment. Implement safety and hygiene measures that take into account risks associated with the procedure type and patient profile as well as those associated with working in a sterile area and using specific medical devices.
