These classes are delivered by highly experienced midwives from our maternity unit.
Practical information
We recommend that you register from 25 weeks into your pregnancy.
Consultation days
The classes last a total of 10 hours and take place over a full weekend. Classes in French take place on:
- Saturday from 9am to 12pm, and 1pm to 5pm
- Sunday from 9am to 12pm
Classes in English take place on:
- Saturday from 9am to 3:30pm
- Sunday from 9am to 3:30pm

Prices and reimbursement
350 CHF, with priority booking for women giving birth to Hôpital de la Tour
In Switzerland, basic health insurance covers up to 150 CHF of the total cost of classes run by the facility where you had your baby. Please contact your supplemental insurance provider for information about coverage and additional reimbursement. These services are not covered by the cost sharing offered by Hôpital de La Tour.
