In this issue of Revue Médicale Suisse, Hôpital de La Tour focuses on transparency in terms of quality. This special edition is dedicated to a series of clinical case studies that illustrate real-life scenarios where potentially inappropriate medical decisions had a negative (or potentially negative) impact on patients. Organised by Prof Omar Kherad, it was the perfect teaching exercise for our junior doctors who take our ‘less is more’ quality approach very seriously. This valuable feedback on mistakes will allow Hôpital de La Tour to initiate changes in the behaviour and actions of all members within our medical community in order to promote quality and sustainable care.
