All mothers-to-be (whether you have chosen to have your baby at Hôpital de La Tour or at another facility).
Our experts
These classes are delivered by highly experienced midwives from our maternity department.
Pratical information
You do not need to be able to swim to attend these aquanatal classes. We recommend that you register from 25 weeks into your pregnancy.
Dates and times
The course is composed of four classes that take place on Thursdays and last one hour each at the following times:
- 2:30pm to 3:30pm
- 3:40pm to 4:40pm
- 4:50pm to 5:50pm

What to bring with you
- swimsuit
- towel
- pair of non-slip sandals
- a 1 or 2 Swiss franc coin or a token for the lockers
- a pair of swimming goggles if you need them.

Prices and reimbursement
160 CHF for 4 sessions (40 CHF per session), with priority booking for women giving birth at Hôpital de la Tour
In Switzerland, basic health insurance covers up to 150 CHF of the total cost of classes run by the facility where you had your baby. Please contact your supplemental insurance provider for information about coverage and additional reimbursement. These services are not covered by the cost sharing offered by Hôpital de La Tour.
