Caring for you as we would for ourselves

Protecting your back after your baby is born

Having a baby and all the new daily tasks involved can be hard on your body, especially your back. You can prevent any aches and pains from appearing by making sure you use the correct posture and techniques for carrying your baby from the very start.

At Hôpital de La Tour, a specialist team offers sessions where you can learn how to safely and correctly perform daily movements for your new routines.

Who can attend the workshop?

This workshop is for parents with babies and young children. It has been specially designed to teach you the best ways to protect your back when lifting and carrying your child on a daily basis (for example, lifting them out of bed, lifting them in and out of the car seat, etc.).

Who will run the workshop?

Sessions are delivered by highly-experienced physiotherapists specialising in ergonomics and back pain prevention at Hôpital de La Tour.
