L'Hôpital de La Tour is proud to renew its support as a sponsor of the Nyon Triathlon, taking place on August 9 and 10, 2025. This flagship sporting event in French-speaking Switzerland embodies values we deeply share: health, prevention, inclusion, and pushing personal limits.
A unifying sporting event
The Nyon Triathlon brings thousands of participants and spectators every year. It offers a wide range of races, accessible to elite athletes, amateurs, youth, and families alike.
On Saturday, August 9, the Short Distance and Discovery Triathlon races will open the event with a rolling start format. These will be followed by the National League and Youth League competitions, showcasing the top level of Swiss triathlon. The afternoon will focus on youth categories, with races for children and school-aged participants. The day will conclude with the Team Family & Unified Special Olympics event - a powerful symbol of inclusion and solidarity.
Sunday, August 10, will be dedicated to the Olympic Distance race, with staggered starts by age group, followed by the Swiss Team Relay Championships. The day will continue with duathlon, Short Distance, aquathlon, and a second wave of the Discovery Triathlon.
A long-term commitment to health and prevention
As a leading healthcare institution, l'Hôpital de La Tour places prevention, physical activity, and long-term well-being at the heart of its mission. Our support for the Nyon Triathlon is part of a broader strategy to promote healthy behaviors across all stages of life.
We are also especially committed to the inclusive nature of this event, which encourages access to sport for individuals with disabilities or those distanced from regular physical activity. This approach reflects our belief in health that is truly accessible to all.
