After completing his medical studies in Geneva in 2011 and earning his FMH certification in orthopedics in 2017, he completed a one-year fellowship in the United States focused on hip and knee replacement surgery. Upon returning to Switzerland, he served as a senior resident at the HUG before being appointed assistant physician in 2021, at which point he focused his practice on hip replacement surgery, particularly complex cases and revision surgeries. He is also recognized for his expertise in orthopedic trauma. Starting in May 2025, he will put his experience to work for patients at Hôpital de la Tour, where he will continue his practice.
Areas of Expertise
- Total hip arthroplasty, including primary arthroplasty (minimally invasive techniques, navigation-assisted surgery, and implantation of custom prostheses)
- Revision surgery, including complex cases (loose prostheses with bone loss, periprosthetic fractures of the femur or pelvis, bacterial or fungal infections, and treatment of instability)
- Upper and lower extremity orthopedic trauma, including complex cases of nonunion and osteoarticular infection.
