We are pleased to announce that Hôpital de La Tour is the first hospital in French-speaking Switzerland to receive certification as a Wound Care Center.
We have received “Wound Care Center” certification from the Swiss Association for Wound Care – SafW-R, valid for three years. Our center is located on the ground floor of the building at 1bis J.-D. Maillard Avenue and is staffed by Dr. Karine Majchrzak and four specialized nurses: Sophie Marcot, lead nurse; Angélique Coulange; Laure Bouiller; and Stéphanie Ray Tripoli.
This accreditation entails high standards of quality and safety and is based on a set of guidelines developed with the complexity of caring for patients with acute and chronic wounds (excluding diabetic foot ulcers) in mind, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.
