Once again this year for Pink October, Hôpital de La Tour has partnered with the Breast Center of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), the Western Lake Geneva Hospital Group (GHOL), the Geneva Cancer League, the Geneva Foundation for Cancer Screening, and the OTIUM Center to offer a program of lectures and other public events, as well as a series of symposia for healthcare professionals.
These events have, in particular, highlighted the excellence of the multidisciplinary breast cancer care provided at Hôpital de La Tour. This high standard of care is further recognized and reflected in the partnership with the HUG Breast Center, which is accredited by the Swiss Cancer League and the Swiss Society of Senology.
The conference organized by Hôpital de La Tour in partnership with the association Resiliam highlighted the importance of supporting children whose mothers are battling cancer. It also demonstrated the existing collaboration between our hospital and associations within the Geneva network, which benefits patients’ quality of life.
