Dr. Luca Tramontano, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, currently practices at the Center for Gynecology, Endometriosis, and Fertility at Hôpital de La Tour (Geneva), where he is pursuing advanced training in operative gynecology and obstetrics and endometriosis pathology. He is also a senior resident in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Neuchâtel Hospital Network (RHNe).
His medical career has spanned Italy, France, and Switzerland, within leading university and hospital settings such as the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), the EOC in Lugano, and the University Hospital of La Réunion.
He has developed clinical and surgical expertise in the management of endometriosis, infertility, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery, with a particular interest in fertility preservation and assisted reproductive technology (ART).
Dr. Tramontano possesses in-depth expertise in gynecological ultrasound, an essential tool for the accurate diagnosis and personalized monitoring of pelvic and uterine conditions. He also performs diagnostic and operative colposcopy, particularly in the context of screening for and treating cervical lesions.
He holds a university certificate (D.U.) in Genital Aesthetic Medicine (Faculty of Medicine of Créteil–Paris) and integrates intimate aesthetic medicine into his daily practice as part of a holistic approach to women’s health and well-being.
As the author and co-author of several international scientific publications in gynecology, reproductive medicine, and obstetrics, he has a particular interest in oocyte quality, the impact of obesity and environmental factors on fertility, and the epigenetic aspects related to assisted reproductive technologies.
He also holds a master’s degree in Sexology and Sex Education and advocates for an integrated, respectful, and patient-centered approach.
