I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Lausanne in 1994, earned my medical degree in Lausanne in 2007, and received my FMH certification as a specialist in pediatric surgery in 2008. That same year, I earned an interuniversity diploma in pediatric urology in Paris. I hold several additional certifications, notably in minimally invasive surgery, microsurgery, and trauma surgery.
Starting in 2001, for 10 years, I served as a senior resident in the pediatric surgery and orthopedics departments at the HUG. Since 2012, I have been seeing patients at the pediatric center of the Clinique des Grangettes, supervising surgical procedures in the clinic’s pediatric emergency department, and operating on my young patients at various institutions in the Geneva area (Clinique des Grangettes, Hôpital de la Tour, Clinique Générale Beaulieu, and Clinique de la Pleine). At Hôpital de la Tour, I oversee pediatric surgery and trauma emergencies when my colleagues who are on-site are absent. I am a consultant at the University Hospital of Geneva.
My areas of practice include general pediatric surgery, urology, and trauma surgery. I also perform urodynamic studies for any child with urinary disorders. I perform ritual circumcisions on newborns, even during their stay in the maternity wards of Geneva’s clinics.
