Dr. Martinho-Grueber is a gastroenterologist at Hôpital de la Tour. She completed her postgraduate training at the Cantonal Hospital of Fribourg, followed by the University Hospital of Bern.
From the very beginning of her training, she took a particular interest in the nutritional aspects of gastroenterological conditions, which led her to complete a two-year specialized training program in clinical and metabolic nutrition at the University Hospital of Lausanne.
Her areas of interest include, in particular, food intolerances, short bowel syndrome, and the management of malnutrition. She is currently completing her French interuniversity diploma in clinical nutrition to further enhance her knowledge, particularly in nutritional assessment using body composition analysis. She also serves as a medical advisor to the Association Romande de Coeliaquie.
Furthermore, throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in the management of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), enabling her to provide a multimodal approach to treating these conditions.
